My big girl turned 7 years old yesterday.
She has filled our house wtih laughter and love since the very first day we met her.
Both of her little sisters will tell you-
You couldn't ask for a better big.
The really strange thing for me is that...
I remember being 7.
And it really wasn't all that long ago!
Gifts:
gorgeous handmade dress from Mom
(made by someone else's hands)
Barbie rock star guitar from littles.
Gift certificate to Girly Girl from Auntie Leslie.
Purple flip flops and "Fairyopoly" from Grandma Peg and Auntie Nessy.
Barbie doll and cute outfits from Grandma T.
Lots of long distance contributions to her pink piggy bank.
Sweet little sisters.
Short story:
I was busy getting Mia out of the bath.
I came into the kitchen and asked Joe to fix a bottle for Eva.
He said he already did -
I found Natalie cradling her baby sister in her lap on the floor in her room.
Singing made-up songs to the tune of "You are my sunshine."
While Eva chugged her bottle.
(Uh, I realized at the last moment that I didn't have any candles.
So Ali was a good sport and blew out "1" candle)
Nontraditional dessert this year:
Mini lemon cheesecakes with raspberry sorbet.
Happy Birthday my dear Sweet Squeek!

4 beautiful girls! Joe is one lucky guy! Happy Birthday to Ali!!
She's 7?? How did that happen? Seems only yesterday I came to her 4th? bday party at your mom's house. Time flies. :-(
Goodness, it's amazing how grown up she is now. I remember trying to babysit her. I had to run the vacuum and water in the bathtub (at the same time - though for safety reasons in different rooms) in order to create enough noise that she would calm down and stop crying!
And what a birthday "cake"! I'm not even sure I'm that grown up yet!
