30 pages??

I really hate it when this much time goes between posts.  No matter how busy, I can generally find a few minutes to upload a picture and talk about my Cuties.  Make no mistake - there has been no shortage of blog-worthy material around here.

Mia (from Time Out, in a frustrated, angry, defiant mood) "Mom?  Will you be dead when I have kids?"

Ouch.

Me: (After listening to Ali explain for 15 minutes that Grady (the only boy invited to her birthday party last year) runs away from her everytime she says hi or tries to play near him) "Well, in my experience, that will only get worse as you get older.  Usually when a boy runs away from you it's because he likes you, not because he doesn't like you."
Ali:  (pause) "Is that TRUE?"

Eva:  "Uh-oh!  Wow!  WOW!  Shoes!  Gicky!  Mine! Ducky!  Mama?  Mama?  Mama?  Da!  Dada!  Ayeee?  Ayeee?  Mimi?  Mimi!"  And on and on and on.....

But back to being absent for so long... it's because of a term paper.  A rotten, horrible, tedious 30 page term paper.  Just try finding  time to write about maternal-child health disparities in Texas while your 4 year tackles your 1 year old to the floor and your 7 year old screams at both of them to "BE QUIET".  I dare you.  Fortunately, I'm about half-way through and have been granted an extension.  Bring round the margaritas!

I'm going to be so proud of myself when  this paper is completed that I may very well post the whole thing in this blog.

You are a brave woman! I would die if I had to write a 5 page paper and I only have 2 kids who wrestle each other to the ground!

If I were closer I would definitely bring over a drink! 30 pages sounds like torture.

I bet it is never quiet at your house! Kelly and I were talking about how much crazier it will be with girlie #3 chatting away along with her sisters.
