While not an appropriate theme for her birthday party 10 years from now... We felt it was safe for the backyard bonanza we hosted this evening! Hot dogs, snocones, water balloons, slip n' slide, sprinklers, bobbin' for apples, cake and 9 screaming six year old girls! And one screaming 6 year old boy...
They had a fabulous time. I, however, did not sit, eat, drink or acknowlege my small, chomping-on-her-fists-and-staring-at-me-like-I'm-a-piece-of-meat daughter for the entire 2 hour stretch. It was a marathon party. I think I barely remembered to breath. Next year we're taking her out to dinner and calling it "good".
