It has happened in my life 3 times.
I have looked into a pair of huge baby blues and thought
"no mother has ever loved a baby as much as I love you".
The enormity of that feeling is
impossible.
Today my last baby turned a year old.
And my first baby baked her some birthday cupcakes.
Her cousins came over and helped her open some birthday presents.
Mia called her little sister "Evalumptious".
The wrapping paper was definately more interesting to her than what was inside the box.
Our hairband wearing days are over, I am afraid.

She actually cried big alligator tears when her cupcake was gone.
Ah, yes. There are those tears.

I shed a tear for you...can't believe your baby is no longer a baby. She is too cute on her b-day...and looks like such a big girl standing up at the tub!!!
I can't believe Moosey is one. Although, I have to say I have a harder time seeing Squeeker doing dishes and baking cupcakes... When did she get so big? I remember when Squeek was MY baby, before I had 3 of my own.. She's a very special girl to Auntie. Sniff.
Eva looks like her Daddy in the picture with the headband. In only the cutest way, of course!! She's adorable! And though the infant years are going bye-bye, lots new and exciting times are just ahead!!
